Dynamism of Learning Dr. R. M. Bhandari* Learning is a dynamic process and it is facilitated and encouraged at diferent levels by innumerable ways. Our journey in life is guided by mindful learning and meaningful interventions. Te whole approach towards life and success changes if we are open to new ideas. After all, what is meaning of learning if it does not add a layer to our understanding. Whether it is solo or group learning, it all depends upon how progressive we are in our thought process besides setting realistic objectives and tangible learning outcomes. We are driven by an innate desire to aspire, achieve and move on, once we are clear about the process of learning. Te synergy between knowledge and application leads to skill development. Classroom pedagogy scafolds individual thinking and facilitates collaborative learning. Tere are several factors which contribute in creating and consolidating collaborative learning which are briefy discussed below: Group Learning: It is an accepted fact that project-based learning impacts the understanding of each member in diferent ways as we all possess diferent intelligences in varying levels. Group work is guided by common objective wherein each participant contributes according to his abilities. In fact, purposeful delegation encourages students to get empowered and become accountable for the work assigned to them. Students are motivated to lead and explore methods to ensure that the objectives of the delegated task are duly achieved. Regular intervention ensures that there is a vibrant and supportive environment in group work to encourage students to act on ideas in order to contribute towards personal development on the one hand, and add a new dimension to the growth of the group, on the other. Te teacher scafolds and fosters learning in several ways by coordinating diferent groups, besides addressing problems on merit basis, in order to achieve tangible targets. Tere are moments and occasions where conficts of interest do occur during the functioning of learning groups but it all depends on how tactful a teacher is in getting groups to deepen their understanding despite its heterogeneous composition. Motivation and Incentivization: Te teacher and the taught are to be motivated in order to contribute their bit to run co scholastic activities, besides the scholastic agenda in a school setting. Teachers are seen as a role model in displaying and demonstrating their talent cogently, confdently and creatively during diferent activities which are held within and beyond classroom, throughout the year. A teacher with high energy level is driven by passion to explore the students’ learning. A challenging setting is to be provided to students and they are to be motivated to unfold their potential. Moreover, when a lot of freedom is given to teachers to transact the syllabus, it adds to the advantage of teachers to grow professionally and personally. If the student’s innovative and creative work is appreciated and recognized, it motivates others to follow their foot steps. As it is rightly said, goals begin behaviors and consequences maintain them. Influence of Media: Te impact of diferent media, like print and electronic media, is huge and powerful on students. Te group presentation by students integrates diferent strengths and weaknesses in terms of the diferent skills possessed by them.
