To foster communal harmony in campus and promote secularism Dr. Bansi Dhar School (Sr. Sec.) organizes a Sarva Dharma Prarthna Sabha every year on Martyr’s Day i.e. 30 January. Tis year also the school observed a mass prayer in which students as well as staf members sang hymns and prayers of different religions. The echoes of hymns and prayers enveloped the school premises. Dignitaries belonging to varied communal background were also invited. Tey shared the good preaching with the students. Sarva Dharma Prarthna Sabha is a unique feature of the school which inculcates an approach of inter- faith amongst the students. It also creates a secular environment in the school where students develop a feeling of love, equality and acceptance of each other. Celebrating Journey of 11 years DPS, Rajkot, Gujarat ‘Journey 11’ (Part I and II) - a special cultural programme was organized on 1 and 2 February 2014 to commemorate the completion of eleven years of the school. NCC Ofcials, Teachers Council and Rotary Club members, eminent personaliti es of the city and parents attended the programme. Journey 11(Part I) was presented by the students of classes VI to XII on 1 February 2014. Te Chief Guest, Justice Trivedi, Former Judge- Gujarat High Court, inaugurated the programme.
