Feedback Forum In harmony with the Energy Conservation Act, 2001 and under the National Campaign on Energy Conservation 2013, the Ministry of Power and Bureau of Energy Efciency had completed the process of National Painting Competition 2013 with concerted eforts of CBSE, various Education Societies in India and all State/UT Education Departments. I would like to place on record our sincere thanks and appreciation for your kind cooperation extended to us in advising your ofce to send the circular to all the CBSE afliated schools for their participation in the National Painting Competition on Energy Conservation-2013’, which was a great success owing to your active support. Te competition received an overwhelming response and 45.09 lakhs students in comparison to about 30.90 lakhs students in 2012 from 35 States and Union Territories participated at the School level Painting Competition. Tis participation was about 46% higher than that in the previous year. Tis was largely due to your excellent cooperation in the above event. st nd rd Hon’ble President of India presented the 1 , 2 and 3 prizes to 19 National level winners in a function held on 16 December 2013 at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi. We once again extend our gratitude for the whole hearted eforts and support of the Central Board of Secondary Education, particularly Academic Division and IT sections of CBSE, in successful completion of the Painting Competition on Energy Conservation. We sincerely hope that we will receive CBSE’s support in our future activities concerning creating awareness on energy conservation among the school children.
