Health and Wellness Clubs Health and Wellness Club rallies focussing on health and wellness were organised. Heera Public School, New Delhi Students from VI to X classes voluntary came forward with banners and slogans based on cleanliness, covering of drains, say no to polybags, protect the environment etc. Display boards were decorated on this theme and medical checkup camp was organised for awareness generation and check-up. School management believes that “Doing good to others is not a duty. It is a joy, for it increases your own health and happiness”. Health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being, and not merely the absence of disease or infrmity as approved by World Health Organization. “Health and Wellness Club” focused all the activities on physical as well as mental ftness. Physical ftness equals to mental ftness. It helps in acquiring over all ftness, thus producing a healthy and an energetic nation. It is said by Gautam Budha “Our body is precious. It is our vehicle for awakening. Treat it with care.” It is a fact that if you have healthy body and mind, confdence and discharge your duty with humility, the glory of the universe will be yours.
