Winner of National Children's Science Congress English Language Lab DAV Multipurpose Public School, Buxi Jagabandhu English Medium School Sonepat, Haryana Bhubaneswar, Odisha Te team of young scientists of DAV Multipurpose Te long chased dream and much needed English Public School School, Sonepat has been honoured by Language Lab was launched at Buxi Jagabandhu Padam Vibhushan Professor Yashpal ji for securing English Medium School Bhubaneswar on 18 January st st 1 position at the National Level in the 21 National 2014. Te lab was inaugurated by Prof. Debabrata Children Science Congress organized in Bhopal from Mishra, Dept. of English, Utkal University in the 27 December to 31 December 2013 by the National presence of Dr. Govinda Ch Pradhan, Reader in Council for Science and Technology Communication English, BJB College, Mr. P.K. Jena (Manager), Mr. ± (Network), Department of Science and Technology, J.K. Mohanty (Principal), Miss Sandhya Jena (Vice- Government of India. Principal), management members and the faculty members of English Department. Te team presented research work on the project Solar Still-An Alternate to Electric Water Purifer. Out of 664 projects at National Level, the project was selected among the best 20 for International Level. Te team consisting of Shrestha, Kajal, Navjot, Priya and Kartik will be given a golden chance to work with the senior scientists of reputed Institutes like IIT and Laboratories of India sponsored by NCSTC Department of Science and Technology, Govt.of India. The dignitaries interacting with the students Mr. Mohanty in his welcome address, stated that children can now enjoy learning English. Prof. Mishra pointed out that such an initiative will help the children to speak English well with poroper stress, accent and pronunciation. Dr. Pradhan also observed that the lab will be of immense help for the children to develop their fuency in English. Mr. Jena emphasized the development of speaking abilities of every student.
